DIMASINTEGRA applies a rigorous, transparent, and ethical double-blind peer review process to ensure the scholarly quality, integrity, and relevance of all published articles. Each submitted manuscript is initially evaluated by the editorial team to assess its alignment with the journal’s aims and scope, originality, ethical compliance, and adherence to author guidelines. Manuscripts that do not meet these preliminary criteria are returned to the authors without external review.
Submissions that pass the initial screening are anonymously reviewed by at least two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript’s subject matter and methodological approach. Reviewer identities are concealed from authors, and author identities are withheld from reviewers to preserve objectivity and minimize potential bias. The reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on clearly defined criteria, including conceptual clarity, methodological rigor, integration of theory and practice, ethical engagement with communities, analytical depth, and the significance of outcomes and impact.
Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the Editor-in-Chief or assigned Section Editor makes one of the following editorial decisions: accept without revision, accept with minor revisions, revise and resubmit, or reject. Authors are provided with constructive and detailed feedback intended to strengthen the academic quality and clarity of their work. Revised manuscripts may be returned to the original reviewers for further evaluation to ensure that all substantive concerns have been adequately addressed.
DIMASINTEGRA is committed to maintaining high standards of publication ethics. All participants in the peer review process—editors, reviewers, and authors—are expected to adhere to principles of confidentiality, objectivity, and academic integrity. The journal does not tolerate plagiarism, data fabrication, or unethical research practices. Through this robust peer review process, DIMASINTEGRA ensures that published articles make a credible and meaningful contribution to the advancement of integrative community engagement scholarship in higher education.
